
The Data & Insights Analyst will join Visa’s Business Optimization Analytics team within Client Services, based in Miami. This team turns massive amounts of data into actionable insights that drive business value for Visa’s issuing banks, acquirers, merchants, and partners. In this role, you will combine analytical skills, business acumen, and creativity to solve complex business challenges, enhance client performance, and deliver impactful reporting and recommendations.

- Formulate and source datasets from internal tools and platforms to support analytics.
- Create and deliver insightful presentations and data visualizations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze client performance data to uncover opportunities for growth and profitability.
- Combine and analyze disparate data sources in Big Data environments (Hadoop, Hive, Spark).
- Compare client performance to industry benchmarks to identify optimization opportunities.
- Translate findings into clear, compelling presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
- Support Visa’s cross-border, affluent, and mass-market activities with accurate, actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience OR advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, PhD).
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of data analysis or insight delivery experience with measurable business impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics).
- Proficiency with SQL and Big Data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark).
- Experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Payments industry or Visa experience is a plus.
- Work Hours: Varies based on department needs.
- Travel: 5–10% travel required.
- Work Environment: Office-based hybrid position (sitting, standing, and use of standard office equipment required).
