Job Responsibilities
- Support execution of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategy in collaboration with Legal, HR, IT, and Cybersecurity
- Contribute to updating policies and defining sensitive data types
- Assist in deploying DLP tools and managing data risk across egress vectors
- Support training and enablement for employees handling sensitive data
- Ensure alignment with internal policies and external compliance requirements
- Collaborate across departments to improve United’s data security posture
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a STEM field or completion of Cyber Rotational Program
- Hands-on experience with DLP tools and data security technologies
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- U.S. work authorization without sponsorship
- Successful interview and reliable attendance required
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CISA or Security+
- Knowledge of network security, architecture, and compliance frameworks
- Experience interpreting patterns of noncompliance and cybersecurity risks
- Hands-on experience with DLP tools (e.g., Forcepoint, Symantec, Microsoft Purview)
