What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend services in Go and Python for core insurance functions, including quotes, policies, rating, underwriting, and billing
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, QA engineers, frontend teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions that drive business impact and enhance customer experiences
  • Support system expansion into new markets by designing adaptable, extensible architectures that integrate with AI applications for real-time data processing and decision-making
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability, performance, and security in a high-stakes environment
  • Contribute to new feature development, including design reviews, sprint planning, code reviews, and integrating AI-driven capabilities (e.g., machine learning models for personalized rating)
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying technical debt, enhancing system observability (e.g., monitoring and logging), and proposing architecture refinements
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices for documentation, automated testing, and deployment in a fast-paced setting
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and agency within the team
