Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise data models, pipelines, and platforms for data initiatives.
  • Utilize Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) for scalable and secure data processing.
  • Apply best practices for SCD Type 2, CDC, and data change tracking.
  • Promote data governance, including data quality, cataloging, and lineage.
  • Collaborate on batch and real-time processing architecture with engineering teams.
  • Guide data migration and modernization across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Implement data observability and ensure compliance with data security policies.
  • Create documentation, technical designs, and POCs that align with business needs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 1+ years experience with enterprise data architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and SQL, experience with Jupyter or Databricks.
  • Understanding of dimensional modeling, SCD Type 2, and data mesh/Lakehouse.
  • Experience with AWS (Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift, Athena) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of tools like Collibra, Alation, AWS Glue Data Catalog.
  • Experience with CDC tools (e.g., Qlik Replicate, AWS DMS).
  • Familiar with tools like Erwin, dbt, Kafka, Kinesis, and SaaS platforms like Databricks.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical teams.
