Job Description
The Associate Data Analytics – BI role focuses on delivering product insights through dashboards, adoption testing, and collaboration with BI engineers and data teams. You’ll work across departments to transform raw data into meaningful visualizations and product intelligence. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Enterprise Analytics at Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Build dashboards and interactive reports using Tableau Cloud, Tableau Next, and Salesforce Einstein Analytics.
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business partners to define reporting needs and visualize metrics.
- Develop KPIs, alerts, and automated BI solutions for enterprise use.
- Identify gaps in data, improve data quality, and integrate cross-platform data sets.
- Tell stories with data through clear, impactful visual design and summary analytics.
Job Requirements
- 1–2 years of data visualization experience using Tableau or similar tools.
- Experience with Big Data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Pig, HBase).
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Analytical problem-solving with ability to drive business impact.
- Creative mindset with an eye for user experience and storytelling.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced and unstructured environments.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in data modeling, BI architecture, and visual storytelling.
- Experience using open-source tools for analytics and development.
- Clear communication and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences.
- Related technical degree (Computer Science, Data Science, etc.)
