About the Role
As a Test Data Engineer on Rolls‑Royce’s Test Electrical Systems team, you will configure, maintain, and calibrate data acquisition systems (DAS) for engine and component testing. You’ll support instrumentation, harness design, and system deployment to ensure robust verification of product designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy in-house data acquisition systems for engine/component testing
- Maintain and support DAS and instrumentation during test programs
- Calibrate systems and design electronic support equipment using AutoCAD or similar tools
- Support offsite testing via standalone DAS deployments
Basic Qualifications
- Associate’s degree + 3 yrs relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s + 1 yr experience in STEM field
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Willingness to travel up to 20% to West Lafayette facilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience configuring and calibrating DAS or instrumentation
- Knowledge of harness design, analog electronics, and gas turbine environments
