Key Responsibilities
- Analyze transactional data to identify anomalies and suspicious activities.
- Develop and implement fraud detection controls.
- Automate data collection, performance metrics, and loss calculations.
- Design and deploy rules in the rules engine with thorough testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance fraud detection tools and systems.
- Partner with Data Science to design fraud risk models.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to present insights.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Cognos, or DataIku.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in fraud prevention or behavioral analysis.
- Knowledge of fraud monitoring tools and case management systems.
- Experience with big data analytics.
- Familiarity with statistical tools like Tableau, SAS, R.
- Knowledge of fraud engines (Visa, MasterCard, FICO, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Equivalent relevant work experience considered.
