Role Summary
As part of the Azure CIS team, you’ll build and run automation systems that manage Azure clusters, regions, and availability zones. You’ll work on distributed systems that power Microsoft’s rapidly growing cloud platform and learn how infrastructure and business priorities align.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and distributed systems
- Create, optimize, debug, and refactor code for performance and maintainability
- Lead product planning, release cycles, and cross-functional collaboration
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) during outages or system events
- Stay up to date with emerging trends, cloud solutions, and technologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 1+ year of experience in distributed systems or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure and monitoring systems
