About the Role

As a Data Engineer at Meta, you will support Meta’s product analytics by building data infrastructure, modeling scalable pipelines, and driving product strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally to solve complex data challenges while powering insights that enhance the user experience across all Meta apps.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable data models, pipelines, and datasets
  • Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and data scientists to understand data needs
  • Design and execute ETL/ELT processes and production workflows
  • Support data integrity, security, compliance, and quality
  • Contribute to product decisions and shape user experiences with data

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience working in a data-focused role
  • 2+ years experience with SQL, ETL systems, and Python or equivalent language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in STEM
  • Experience with data modeling, compliance, and BI tools
  • Strong communication and product influence skills
