About the Role
As a Data Engineer at Meta, you will support Meta’s product analytics by building data infrastructure, modeling scalable pipelines, and driving product strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally to solve complex data challenges while powering insights that enhance the user experience across all Meta apps.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data models, pipelines, and datasets
- Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and data scientists to understand data needs
- Design and execute ETL/ELT processes and production workflows
- Support data integrity, security, compliance, and quality
- Contribute to product decisions and shape user experiences with data
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience working in a data-focused role
- 2+ years experience with SQL, ETL systems, and Python or equivalent language
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in STEM
- Experience with data modeling, compliance, and BI tools
- Strong communication and product influence skills
