Job Description
The Data Engineer will be responsible for improving and expanding our data pipeline architecture and optimizing data flow and MDM across teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced builder who enjoys optimizing systems and processes for scale and reliability. You will support database architects, data analysts, and scientists to ensure efficient delivery across projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage large-scale data pipelines for internal/external use
- Automate and improve internal data-related processes
- Integrate multiple data sources per business needs
- Write robust, maintainable, and well-documented code
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing
- Strong experience with Python, Parquet, Spark, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake
- Hands-on experience with SQL (Stored procedures, triggers, indexing, etc.)
- Expertise in ETL/ELT processes and data modeling
- Experience with BI tools (Sisense is a plus)
- CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins
- Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
- Familiarity with Django, JavaScript, or React is a plus
- Financial industry experience is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
