Job Description
Inizio Evoke is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Engineer to support our marketing technology (MarTech) division by managing and optimizing database systems. You will play a critical role in enabling client teams through robust data engineering, pipeline management, automation, and analytics readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
- Maintain and document client data structures and assist with ad-hoc SQL queries.
- Architect data lakes and warehouses using industry best practices.
- Leverage AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions to automate data workflows.
- Support System Architects, Tech Leads, and Analytics teams to drive insights and reporting.
- Implement data governance and security measures.
Technologies & Tools
- AWS: S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, Lambda, CloudFormation, Step Functions
- Databases: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
- ETL/ELT Tools and Frameworks
- Languages: Python and SQL
- Data Platforms: Apache Spark, Databricks
Required Experience
- 3+ years as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Deep expertise in SQL and Python
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools and pipeline building
- Experience managing databases, access, and permissioning
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
