Key Responsibilities
- Ingest and transform data from external systems, data warehouses, and APIs using Python and SQL
- Build and support batch and streaming pipelines using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
- Explore emerging data processing techniques in prototyping “lab” environments
- Ensure data privacy compliance and collaborate with Privacy teams
- Implement enhancements and business rules for data schema and process improvements
- Monitor and troubleshoot data loads and pipeline issues in production
Ideal Candidate
- Experience with distributed data processing tools: Hadoop/HDFS, Spark, Kafka, Flume
- Proficiency in handling JSON, Parquet, MQ sources, and relational DBs like Oracle
- Cloud-native tooling knowledge (Azure ARM, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with Object Storage (ADLS Gen2, S3) and container orchestration (Docker, K8s)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, Azure DevOps) and NoSQL stores (CosmosDB, MongoDB)
- Understanding of finance data governance and real-time analytics platforms (DMP/CDP)
- Strong verbal, written, and agile team collaboration skills
