Equifax is seeking a motivated and creative Entry-Level Software Engineer to contribute to cloud-based, scalable platforms. This role involves working with modern tech like Java, SpringBoot, Microservices, and DevOps tools in an agile environment. What You’ll Do

  • Design solutions for small to medium-sized systems and document technical architecture.
  • Apply software engineering principles and contribute to design/code reviews.
  • Work across teams to integrate new features with corporate product platforms.
  • Leverage modern software practices including CI/CD, microservices, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions.
  • Identify improvements and automate tasks wherever possible.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience with Java programming.
  • 6+ months of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with relational databases like MySQL or SQL Server.
  • Exposure to HTML, JavaScript, Angular, or Bootstrap for UI development.
  • Experience with source control (GitHub, Git, SVN) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
  • Knowledge of agile development practices (Scrum, XP).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SpringBoot, J2EE, or microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools (JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner).
  • Understanding of DevOps, SecOps, and FinOps practices.
  • Exposure to Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Interest in systems thinking and scalable engineering solutions.
