Job Description
As a Data Analyst on the Capital Markets Solutions team, you will analyze loan-level data, build tools for investors and originators, and work closely with both internal engineering teams and external clients like hedge funds, banks, and fintech lenders.
Responsibilities
- Work at the intersection of technology and structured finance, especially in ABS and RMBS markets.
- Analyze large-scale loan-level datasets to draw insights, identify trends, and refine data mappings.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build client-facing and internal solutions.
- Communicate directly with clients, offering insights and supporting analytics needs.
- Utilize tools like SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with financial data; structured finance exposure is preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
- Ability to extract and interpret data from financial statements and trustee reports.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.
