Job Description
The Software Engineer I will assist in designing, developing, and deploying data-driven solutions to support strategic data transformation efforts. The candidate will work with architects, data scientists, and analysts to deliver scalable systems across hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement modern data solutions supporting OLTP, APIs, data lakes, and analytics.
- Transform legacy processes into secure, scalable solutions.
- Apply best practices for data engineering and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop Data Services (DaaS) using micro-services, APIs, and ELT pipelines.
- Automate and optimize data pipelines using modern tools.
- Ensure performance and security across all applications.
- Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and meet delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in tools like Airflow, Hadoop, Kafka, NiFi, Tableau, Superset.
- Skilled in Java, JavaScript (Node.js), and Python.
- Familiar with hybrid cloud systems (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong understanding of design patterns and data formats (JSON, Parquet, Avro).
Preferred Skills
- BS or higher in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in production-level analytics and streaming systems.
