Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop star and snowflake schemas for business-critical datasets
- Build and optimize data storage using Iceberg, Parquet, Avro, ORC formats
- Work with BI, analytics, and data science teams to create metrics and datasets
- Tune MPP databases such as StarRocks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift
- Build and manage Airflow pipelines to power analytical workflows
- Ensure scalable data processing with Spark or Flink for large datasets
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in data engineering or similar roles
- Hands-on with Apache Kafka, Airflow, Spark/Flink
- Proficient in SQL, Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with MPP databases and lakehouse environments
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments and collaborative teams
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Iceberg, Hudi, or Trino
- Knowledge of Debezium connectors and change data capture systems
- Background in data governance, access control, and platform-first architecture
