You’ll analyze business needs, craft architecture and specifications, implement modernized designs, and ensure applications remain secure and up-to-date. You’ll also collaborate with cross-component leads and stakeholders to understand and manage system impacts.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client business needs and propose the best-fit technical solutions.
- Gather system requirements; author specification documents, flowcharts, and architecture designs.
- Implement and modernize application design; plan and execute testing prior to release.
- Coordinate with cross-component leads and business stakeholders to assess system impacts.
- Ensure applications are secure, compliant, and kept current.
- Contribute as an individual developer within Agile/Scrum teams.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building, consuming, and exposing REST APIs.
- Proficiency with Spring (Core concepts), Maven, Git, Jenkins, Postman, and SOAP UI.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, C++, Dart, Swift is a plus.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Innovative, security-minded, and comfortable writing maintainable, production-ready code.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $68,422 – $114,000/year (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
- Bonus: Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program.
