Job Description
The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of Citi’s application, Workforce Master Central (WMC). This includes working with technologies like Java, React, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Oracle databases. The role also involves application testing, debugging, risk analysis, and collaborating with team members and management to ensure high-quality code and project success.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to system design, analysis, and programming activities.
- Develop front-end interfaces using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Implement backend logic using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka.
- Perform debugging, testing, and documentation of applications.
- Analyze business processes and propose technical solutions.
- Oversee software quality, identify risks, and address redundancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Hands-on with Java, React, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, OpenShift.
- Experience with Oracle databases and SQL scripting.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, Git, and distributed systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
