Role Overview
As a Data Analyst II, you will work collaboratively across departments to derive insights from large and integrated healthcare data sources. Your work will directly influence business decisions related to medical economics, cost of care, and population health.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze data from healthcare providers, patients, and third parties
- Support large-scale data projects with minimal supervision
- Identify root causes of data inconsistencies and recommend solutions
- Design and enhance automation and analytics processes
- Present analytical findings to leadership and internal/external stakeholders
- Build dashboards and models to support decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, public health, health informatics, math, finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with large data systems or 1+ year in IT-related roles
- Working knowledge of SQL and query languages
- Preferred: Python, R, data modeling, BI tools, claims analysis, trend evaluation
- Healthcare analytics background strongly preferred
