- Develop, enhance, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and orchestration systems.
- Design and support data-centric applications for financial analytics and reporting.
- Integrate data feeds from multiple internal and external systems with high accuracy.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and timeliness through validation and monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in live environments efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, maintainable systems.
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and contribute to open-source communities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack or data engineer in financial or tech environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in Java or Go preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Sybase, etc.).
- Experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Airflow, Spark, Pandas, Polars, or similar data frameworks.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC for data services.
- Hands-on familiarity with data storage technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
- Background in statistical or financial data analysis.
- Experience with job scheduling tools like Cron or Airflow.
