- Write advanced SQL queries including joins, subqueries, and window functions for data extraction and validation.
- Develop and enhance data models using dbt to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Work with ELT pipelines and relational/dimensional data models to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to align data integrity across systems.
Analysis & Visualization
- Translate business challenges into measurable KPIs and metrics.
- Build and maintain BI dashboards and reports in Tableau or Looker.
- Use Python (pandas, NumPy) for profiling, summarization, and trend detection.
- Apply data visualization best practices to communicate insights effectively.
Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in agile rituals such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and estimations.
- Promote a data-driven culture by guiding teams in understanding key performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a related analytical role.
- 2+ years of experience developing dbt data models and writing modular SQL.
- 2+ years of experience using Python for data analysis (pandas, NumPy).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based analytics tools.
- Proficiency with version control using Git and GitHub.
- Experience in education or edtech industries with privacy and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with large datasets, statistical analysis, or A/B testing.
- Familiarity with additional BI tools or advanced data visualization techniques.
- Salary Range: $95,000 – $105,000 annually
