Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve data processing issues in existing solutions.
- Build, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines with Informatica, AWS Glue, and Python.
- Support enterprise data warehouse development and BI-focused architecture.
- Create documentation of data structures, flows, and end-to-end pipelines.
- Collaborate with teams on technical design and project planning.
- Mentor junior data engineers and ETL developers.
- Enhance skills in AWS, Snowflake, Python, and data governance practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3–5 years of data engineering or ETL development experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Informatica, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda.
- Strong Python programming and SQL skills.
- Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, and Postgres.
- Understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and governance.
- Familiarity with Apache Airflow, Step Functions, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of real-time data frameworks such as Kafka or Kinesis.
