Job Description
The Entry Level Data Analyst is responsible for creating dashboards, analyzing trends, and supporting business initiatives through data insights. This role focuses on Power BI development, SQL-based extraction, and supporting reporting automation to enable data-driven decision-making across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis, Visualization & Management (40%)
- Create and manage dashboards in Power BI to support business decisions.
- Analyze performance trends using statistical methods.
- Utilize SQL for data extraction and validation.
- Audit databases and maintain carrier file imports.
- Present findings clearly to leadership.
Report Management & Production (40%)
- Develop and maintain recurring performance reports.
- Automate manual reporting processes with Power BI.
- Support ad-hoc data/reporting for various initiatives.
- Conduct data audits and reconcile external datasets.
Process Improvement & Other Duties (20%)
- Identify opportunities for data-driven efficiencies.
- Collaborate with teams to standardize best practices.
- Support data-related projects and self-service analytics initiatives.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred in Math, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- 1–2 years of work-related experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Experience in Power BI or other BI tools required (Power BI preferred).
- Basic knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn.
