
Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a Data Analyst in the Department of Neurology to support the launch of the Division of Brain and Cognitive Health Technology. This division leads innovative research on digital technologies, cognitive monitoring, neuropsychological assessment, and risk prediction in neuropsychiatric disorders. The Data Analyst will play a key role in data management, analytics, and the integration of digital health technologies into brain health research.

Position Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain databases (SQL, REDCap) for participant cognitive, clinical, and digital phenotype data.
- Define data standards and support queries from staff and collaborators.
- Build data pipelines for ingestion, quality control, and validation.
- Perform quality assurance checks and merge datasets from multiple sources.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and secure data sharing under IRB-approved protocols.
- Work with investigators, project managers, and developers on study protocols.
- Develop documentation including data dictionaries and codebooks.
- Train staff on data management and entry best practices.
- Support or lead data analysis to advance division research aims.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant data analysis or management experience.
- Proficiency in R and SQL.
- Experience with time series or longitudinal data preferred.
- Knowledge of neurodegenerative or neuropsychiatric diseases desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and software environments.
