Role Overview

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish technical roadmaps and lifecycle strategies that balance value, cost, and performance.
  • Ensure integration, data, and security best practices throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Deliver scalable data solutions aligned with business outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical data issues.
  • Continuously improve methodologies and services based on business needs.
  • Participate in a community of interest with other engineers to share knowledge.
  • Maintain deep technical expertise across data systems and platforms.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (Databricks, PySpark, etc.).
  • Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Delta Lake.
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT, APIs, batch, and streaming data integration.
  • Background in data modeling, scalability, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks).
