Role Overview
- Establish technical roadmaps and lifecycle strategies that balance value, cost, and performance.
- Ensure integration, data, and security best practices throughout the data lifecycle.
- Deliver scalable data solutions aligned with business outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical data issues.
- Continuously improve methodologies and services based on business needs.
- Participate in a community of interest with other engineers to share knowledge.
- Maintain deep technical expertise across data systems and platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (Databricks, PySpark, etc.).
- Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Delta Lake.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT, APIs, batch, and streaming data integration.
- Background in data modeling, scalability, and optimization.
- Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks).
