Hy-Vee is seeking an Associate Data Analyst to join its Information Technology team in Grimes, IA. In this role, you will analyze marketing and customer data, build scalable data pipelines with Google Cloud tools, and deliver insights that support business growth. This is a full-time role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in SQL, data analytics, and business intelligence.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze media, marketing, and customer data to uncover opportunities and measure performance.
- Build and maintain pipelines and transformations using BigQuery, Dataform, and Google Cloud.
- Develop dashboards and reports with Power BI to connect marketing investments to business outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Work independently to source and integrate new data for analysis.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics (marketing, retail media, or customer analytics preferred).
- Strong SQL skills, with BigQuery experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Python for analysis and automation.
- Experience using Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Proficiency in building dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate results clearly.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
