The Cloud Engineer Graduate role is designed as Hybrid, with an expectation to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, prototype, and implement cloud-based solutions for mission-critical applications. You will collaborate with project managers and technical partners to ensure efficient deployment, monitoring, and support of cloud solutions that drive customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement tailored cloud solutions.
  • Assist in deployment, configuration, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Support automation of cloud deployment processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and ensure system reliability and security.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Typically 0–2 years of experience required.
Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (C, C++, Python, JavaScript, Java).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking protocols, OOP principles, MVC design patterns, SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of GNU/Linux, IPC, and networking protocols like TCP/IP.
  • Exposure to full-stack development, Java frameworks, REST/SOAP APIs, and version control (Git preferred).
