Job Description
Samsung Electronics America, a global leader in consumer electronics and innovation, is seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer. You will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies to ensure product quality and performance. This role involves close collaboration with developers and product managers in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed and structured test plans and test cases
- Collaborate with developers, TPMs, and QA teams
- Develop automated testing tools using Python scripting
- Debug logs and analyze issues
- Track defects and manage testing timelines
- Work on testing mobile features like VoLTE, RCS Messaging, and APNs
- Utilize data analytics and test automation tools to improve test efficiency
Skills Required:
- Strong QA fundamentals and knowledge of development life cycle
- Hands-on experience in mobile testing (AOSP, VoLTE, VoNR, RCS, Visual Voicemail)
- Familiarity with IMS provisioning, SIP/HTTP/TCP protocols
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and time management skills
- Experience with test automation, Python, and TS.43 architecture
- Data analytics experience is a plus
