Our Engineering Systems team is hiring Software Engineers to help us improve the developer experience at Snowflake. You will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and a world-class team to build, test, deploy, and operate the tools and services used by Snowflake engineers. These internal systems are key to the productivity and efficiency of our global engineering organization.
As a Software Engineer, You Will:
- Design and build features or distributed platforms at scale.
- Drive impactful initiatives for globally distributed infrastructure.
- Collaborate with PMs, architects, and other engineering teams for end-to-end solutions.
- Improve internal engineering processes, tools, and coding standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in software development and large-scale systems.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Fluency in Go, C++, Java, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems and cloud computing.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong interest in developer tools or engineering systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL and Linux.
- Worked on SDKs, compilers, or internal developer tools.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization.
- Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
