About the Job
This is a hybrid position. The first three months are full-time in the office.
Essential Functions
- Analyze protection system records per NERC, NPCC, and ISO NE standards.
- Design and implement scalable, efficient data pipelines from multiple sources.
- Build and maintain P&C data infrastructure and databases.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance.
- Ensure consistency in data used for internal and external reports.
- Identify and resolve data issues and inconsistencies.
- Perform data entry, analysis, technical writing, and implementation tasks.
- Create interfaces to translate P&C logic and settings into code.
- Create and curate datasets and use PowerBI for visual reporting.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong skills in scripting (MATLAB required).
- Experience with data pipeline and integration tools.
- Proficiency with database technologies.
- Knowledge of Doble PowerBase or other software in the utility industry preferred.
- Strong analytical and collaboration skills.
- Utility industry experience is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Must be available for emergency restoration assignments.
- Must be able to travel between MA/CT/NH as required.
- Primarily office-based with required travel to operational sites.
