What You Can Expect
As part of the Finance team, you will collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and engineers. You’ll contribute to cross-functional efforts, building scalable data models and pipelines to support product performance, fraud analysis, payment systems, and more. You’ll work closely with Revenue, FP&A, and Tax teams to drive key insights and KPIs across Zoom’s products.
About the Data Team
The Zoom Data Team empowers informed decision-making across the organization. From product design to privacy and compliance, this team ensures the accuracy and performance of our data infrastructure while enabling teams to build better products.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain enterprise-grade ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Develop scalable and performant data models for analysis
- Design analytics data models simplifying product-wide metrics
- Ensure high-quality data practices – monitoring, alerting, and regression testing
- Develop Airflow DAGs for scheduling and monitoring
- Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual overhead
- Code reviews and deployment orchestration
- Follow Zoom’s change and release management protocols
What Zoom Is Looking For
- Experience in data engineering roles, preferably within Finance data
- Proficient in data structures, algorithms, and CI/CD pipelines
- Programming skills in Java, Python, or C++
- Knowledge of distributed systems like S3, Hive, Trino, Spark
- Strong SQL skills, including data model design and dimensional modeling
- Airflow experience preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms – AWS preferred
