Crunchyroll is seeking a Data Analyst to help turn content analytics into strategic insights. In this role, you’ll work closely with content teams, licensors, and engineers to shape the anime viewing experience for millions worldwide. You’ll support decision-making on content engagement, ROI, and greenlighting using dashboards, reports, and forecasting models.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze content engagement, retention, and monetization metrics to uncover audience trends.
- Build dashboards and reports to visualize key performance data.
- Support audience forecasting and greenlighting content based on performance benchmarks.
- Partner with producers and licensors to advise on dubbing/localization strategy.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure accuracy in datasets and pipelines.
- Translate data into visual presentations and concise reports for stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- SQL: Basic to intermediate query skills.
- Data Visualization: Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Analytics Tools: Familiarity with Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics.
- Cloud Data Platforms: Exposure to Snowflake or BigQuery is a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or academic project experience in analytics or data analysis.
