About the Role
Thomson Reuters’ Platform Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer to join the CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) team. This team builds critical identity services that power all products offered by the company, integrating modern authentication protocols across cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full development lifecycle: Ideation, Design, Build, Test, and Operate
- Develop REST APIs using Java or .NET Core
- Automate tests and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools
- Ensure consistency with cloud architectural best practices
- Collaborate across teams including Product Owners, DevOps Engineers, and Scrum Masters
Required Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and interest in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Experience developing RESTful APIs using Java or .NET Core
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technology program
- Experience with identity providers like Auth0, Ping, or Okta
- Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM protocols
- Experience with cloud-native development on AWS or Azure
- CI/CD experience using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or GitOps
