About the Role
As a Software Engineer 2, you will independently develop and assist in designing supply chain software products that are secure, scalable, and resilient. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, deploy, and monitor production applications using modern technologies and best engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver reliable and scalable software solutions by collaborating with UX, engineering, and product management teams
- Write code/scripts for automation, monitoring, and destructive testing to ensure resilience
- Create dashboards, logging, and alerting to proactively address issues
- Participate in agile processes and continuously seek personal and team growth opportunities
- Plan and align with team members for successful project execution
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
- 2 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL queries and relational databases
- Proficiency in version control systems
- Knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript frameworks
- Experience in object-oriented programming, preferably Java
- Familiarity with cloud computing and CI/CD tools
- Experience with microservice architectures
- Knowledge of modern debugging, root cause analysis, and security frameworks
- Ability to write and execute unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests
