PepsiCo’s Enterprise Data Operations (EDO) team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to architect and operate large-scale data pipelines and cloud data products. You will support analytics, ML, and business intelligence through high-performance data infrastructures spanning on-premise and Azure cloud environments.

What You’ll Do
- Develop, scale, and maintain pipelines from varied data sources into PepsiCo’s Data Lake
- Implement automation and monitoring frameworks for operational KPIs
- Build highly available, distributed data systems for ingestion and processing
- Collaborate with data science/product teams for modular & reusable data products
- Ensure best practices in system integration, security, performance, and data management
- Support productionalization of data science models and define SLAs
- Document code, knowledge, and reusable libraries
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years in tech, with ≥3 years in software/data engineering and systems architecture
- ≥3 years with data lake infrastructure, data warehousing, and analytics tools
- 3+ years optimizing SQL and using Python, PySpark, or Scala
- 2+ years of Azure data engineering experience (Data Factory, Databricks, ML)
- Experience with MPP databases: Synapse, Redshift, or Snowflake
- Familiar with containers/Kubernetes, version control, CI/CD
- Bonus: Experience with data profiling tools like Great Expectations, Apache Griffin, Deequ:contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
