Yum! Brands is seeking a motivated and talented Junior Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines and models supporting our Customer Domain Platform (CDP), analytics projects, and marketing use cases. Ideal for recent graduates or professionals with 1–2 years of experience in data engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL data pipelines
- Implement cloud-based data solutions (data storage, processing, analytics)
- Support CDP development and data modeling
- Ensure data quality through testing and validation
- Stay current on modern data engineering frameworks and cloud technologies
- Support production processes—ingestion, transformation, lifecycle, and reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance and application issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in CS, IS, Engineering or related (preferred)
- 0–2 years in data engineering or related role
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (Snowflake experience is a plus)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP; AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with Airflow, dbt, or similar frameworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Domo, Tableau, or Power BI
- Marketing data and analytics experience
- Snowflake and CDP platform knowledge
