Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support scalable data pipelines using Big Data technologies.
- Participate in end-to-end development: design, test, deployment, and support.
- Collaborate with architectural/security teams to ensure Visa-grade compliance.
- Contribute to continuous integration and automation practices.
- Support cross-team demos and internal client solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- 6 months of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional software/data engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java or Python for backend development.
- Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Hive, Spark, Databricks, Kafka, etc.
- Proficiency in complex SQL queries and shell scripting on Unix-based systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and cloud tools like Airflow or Nifi.
- Knowledge of AI/ML tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT-based solutions is a plus.
